Shan Wu — Founder & Principal Designer

Hi, I'm Shan Wu, founder of Mulan Landscape. I am a licensed California landscape contractor (C-27) with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University and more than 18 years of experience in landscape design and construction.

For the past seven years, I have worked extensively throughout Irvine and surrounding Southern California communities, providing landscape design, 3D visualization, HOA plans and submissions, and complete landscape construction. I have designed and built outdoor spaces for more than 100 homes, with extensive experience navigating Irvine's community-specific HOA requirements and design guidelines.

Every project begins with the homeowner. I create one-of-a-kind designs based on each client's property, lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and budget — then carry that vision through construction with careful attention to quality, functionality, and detail.

From the initial concept and 3D design to HOA approval and final construction, my goal is to make the entire process as seamless as possible and create a beautiful, lasting outdoor space where you can fully enjoy the Southern California lifestyle.
